Challenge

A Japanese manufacturer entering the U.S. sought to apply a partnership model involving shared responsibility with a local agent—an approach that is not insurable or workable under U.S. law.

Our Role

We redesigned the responsibility framework to align with U.S. legal and insurance standards while respecting Japanese partnership principles.

Outcome

A clear three-tier structure—product liability (manufacturer), operational liability (end user), and professional responsibility (agent)—enabled a fully insurable, compliant, and scalable pilot without damaging trust.
